Nunu and Shannon
Meet Nunu, an 18-year-old cat loved by her mom, Shannon. Just like most of the pet owners the teams at Project Street Vet speak with over-the-phone, when speaking with Shannon, you could hear how much she cares for her cat Nunu and wants to give him the best/healthiest life.
The day after Nunu went to the hospital, Shannon shared this with our team: “Thank you so so so much for your help. This cat means the world to me. I’ve had him since I was 15 years old…He’s been through everything with me and is probably the loyalist little guy I’ll ever have in my life. His dog and parrot sisters would be lost without him too.”

Shannon reached out to us after one of our partner hospitals referred her to us. She explained that she was having difficulty getting the necessary bloodwork for Nunu to have his medication refilled. Thanks to the support we receive from Fetch Pet Insurance, the team at Project Street Vet was able to partner with the hospital that referred her to us to get the updated bloodwork so Nunu could have the prescription medication refilled to help with Nunu’s hyperthyroid issues.
