Tricia, Reed and Sammy

Meet Reed, a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois, and Sammy, a 3-year-old Siberian Husky cared for deeply by their mom Tricia. Tricia unfortunately was attacked and her dogs by a pair of dogs that were not secured by their owner. This attack resulted in Reed and Sammy having bite marks and wounds. Tricia had heard about Project Street Vet through our social media channel. She reached out looking for help with getting Reed and Sammy an exam and care for the wounds they had sustained. Tricia wants both of her dogs to live the healthiest life possible and knows the importance of veterinary care, but access to affordable care has been a struggle. The team at Project Street Vet wanted to help.

Thanks to our financial assistance program, we were able to refer Tricia to a partner hospital for her dogs to be evaluated. We were able to help sponsor all the care Reed and Sammy needed to help them live a long, happy life with Tricia. After receiving the help, Tricia shared, β€œProject Street Vet was beyond phenomenal! Not only did they respond very quickly to our urgent need, they did so with the utmost compassion and professionalism. They gave us the hope and dignity of much-needed medical care that was otherwise inaccessible due to financial restrictions. We are so very thankful!”
